This is the 8th Confederations Cup from FIFA. The venues and their capacity are:
- Johannesburg – Coca-Cola Park – 62 567 capacity
- Pretoria – Loftus Versfeld – 50 000 capacity
- Bloemfontein – Free State Stadium – 48 000 capacity
- Rustenburg – Royal Bafokeng – 42 000 capacity
The soccer tournament kicks of this coming Sunday (14th of June) with South Africa against Iraq at Coca-Cola Park. The confederations cup promises to be a great soccer tournament! It is also a test run for the soccer in 2010 – the biggest sport event in the world – soccer world cup!
